nicki brewer // owner, BASI Pilates® certified instructor
Nicki began practicing Pilates in 2004, while attending the University of San Diego. After graduating with a Business Degree and working in the Action Sports industry for several years, she elected to enroll in the BASI Pilates® Teacher Training Course as a way to combine her Marketing experience and education with her new love for Pilates—the goal became learning how to spread the word about Pilates.
"After my first class I remember leaving, feeling energized, lengthened, and far more aware of my posture and body. I loved it! But what really hooked me was seeing that Pilates was helping me do all of the things I love (riding bikes, running, playing volleyball, being active and OUTSIDE whenever the sun is shining) by helping to avoid injuries, improving my core strength and balance, and constantly challenging different muscles."

kristen kelbe / BASI Pilates® certified instructor
Kristen has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and spent her 20’s working in the car racing and power industries. “Um, what does that have to do with Pilates?” Good Question. It means her brain is attuned to understanding form and function as well as analyzing the mechanics of movements.
Kristen dove deep into the world of individual movement and mind-body connection in 2015. She has been teaching yoga and AcroYoga for eight years. She has always been passionate about alignment and articulating cues to ensure students get the most out of their practice.
A spinal injury in 2019 motivated Kristen to find new ways to heal and bring balance back to her body. Luckily her journey lead her to Pilates. Kristen was immediately captivated by the benefits of the practice. Not only did it help her heal from her injury, it helped her shoulder alignment and awareness so she could continue to do the hobbies she loves: spinning fire, sailing and pretty much anything to do with being in the ocean.
Kristen strongly believes in sharing the things that heal us. She is stoked share this practice that has brought stability and symmetry to her body in hopes of helping others thrive as well.
She completed her Comprehensive (Foundation & Graduate level) Certification through BASI Pilates.
